Ricardina is Birdie’s cousin. She comes from The Great Bear Forest. The Munamus are anxious to know everything about her and listen attentively as she tells them what life is like there. She tells incredible stories of how in Spring the forest floor is covered by a carpet of purple flowers that smell like a dessert that has just been baked or how the trees –as high as 100 meters tall– sing an ancestral song during nights when the moon is full. The Munamus has been eagerly waiting for her arrival, but she is very shy and reserved. It seems this is a common characteristic of people from The Great Bear Forest… with patience and kindness, she will come around.
